Every love story has its own spark, and Chelsey and Tyler’s began the modern way—with a swipe on Hinge. In early September of 2023, they met for their first date at Brkthrough KC. Chelsey came across as sweet, patient, and surprisingly uncompetitive. Tyler believed he was meeting a gentle, laid-back soul.

He was wrong—but in the best way.

Anyone who knows Chelsey knows that beneath her calm first impression is a fun, fiery spirit who thrives on competition and brings energy into every room she enters. That night sparked something undeniable. From the moment they met, they became inseparable.

Just six months later, Chelsey moved into Tyler’s apartment, and not long after, they took another big step—buying their first home together in October 2024. They shared a vision of building a space filled with love, warmth, and lifelong memories.

In February 2025, on a cold Saturday, Tyler got down on one knee and asked Chelsey to marry him. The day was full of love, excitement, and celebration with family and friends.

Their little family also began to grow. Charli, Chelsey’s loyal pup of several years, was the first to welcome Tyler into her world. Then, in May 2025, Chelsey and Tyler adopted Cleo—adding even more joy (and chaos) to their home. Charli and Cleo are now a dynamic duo and an essential part of everything Chelsey and Tyler do.

Together, they love movie marathons, adventurous wine tastings, and spontaneous outings that lead to new memories. Chelsey is one of Tyler’s biggest fans—especially when he’s coaching—though she doesn’t hesitate to text him everything going wrong during the games, as if he doesn’t already know.

Beyond their own adventures, what means the most to both of them is time spent with family. Their shared values and deep family bonds have only strengthened their connection and excitement for the future.

Chelsey and Tyler are beyond grateful for the love, support, and joy their family and friends have brought into their lives. They can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you—surrounded by the people who have been part of their journey from the very beginning.
