Like any great modern romance, we met online through a lame dating app. Our first date was July 7, and we went to a Mexican restaurant (Chelsi's favorite) then watched the sunset at the Point in downtown Pittsburgh. We ended the night by watching the stars at the Overlook (the West End NOT the Mt. Washington). We didn't take any pictures that night. This is the first picture we ever took together on our 3rd date at a Luke Bryan concert.

Chelsi had been going to trivia at Black Dog Wine Company every Wednesday for almost a year before she met Coury. For the first month of their relationship, Coury would call Chelsi after trivia every week and ask her what questions were asked that night. Finally, Chelsi invited Coury to go with her. This was Coury's first time playing the highly-acclaimed Trivia With Olivia. This was also the day Coury met his future best man, who played trivia on a rival team.

We went to every single festival in Pittsburgh this weekend. We started Friday off with our very first Kennywood trip together for the Pierogi Festival. On Saturday, we went to a fall festival in Sewickley, then the Pittsburgh Taco Festival, and finally the Pittsburgh Irish Festival.

The day we adopted our kitties, Artemis and Achilles! We took the day off work to watch spooky movies for Halloween but instead adopted two 10 week old kittens from Craigslist.

Our first Halloween together we dressed up as a flapper and 1920s mobster. Despite our best efforts, we did not win the costume contest.

Trip to New Orleans! We went on a ghost tour, true crime tour, vampire tour, and swamp tour while we were there, plus took a cooking class and visited the National World War II Museum.

Less than an hour after we got engaged at the Night Lights festival! Coury proposed while we were lighting a paper lantern together before watching it float away into the sky.

More engagement pictures. We stayed two hours past our check-out time at the bed and breakfast just taking pictures on the property and soaking in every second.

The week after we got engaged we saw Chelsi's favorite artist, Taylor Swift, in Pittsburgh. Ironically, Coury wanted to propose during the concert, but Chelsi told him they needed to date for at least a year before getting engaged. Coury took that to heart and proposed a week earlier than he originally planned.

White water rafting in Ohiopyle with some of our closest friends. We were all violently ejected from our raft on the first mildly challenging rapid of the day.

Our first Oktoberfest together at Hofbrauhaus. Coury is now a Steinmaster, and we love to go for their monthly keg tappings.

We went back to the Lancaster area for the Pennsylvania Renaissance Festival. We stayed at the same bed and breakfast as when we got engaged.

We went on vacation to Ft. Lauderdale Beach the first week it got cold in October. We vowed to make vacations to Florida in the fall a yearly tradition, but it hasn't panned out yet.

On a whim, we bought our wedding bands on Chelsi's 24th birthday. We went in just to look around and came out significantly poorer (but very happy).

The day Chelsi said yes to the dress with her favorite ladies! This was the first shop we looked at, but we went to two other dress shops just to be sure we found the perfect one.

The day we met our baby Freya for the first time! Freya is a border collie/Australian shepherd mix and is, arguably, the best girl in the entire world (but we're not biased)

Spent the weekend at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Festival for the second year in a row. This time we went with the amazing Sam Rosko and Coury bought a kilt.

Chelsi's first official NFL game on Christmas day. The tickets were also our very first wedding present (love you, Amy).
