Our Wedding

All this started in the summer of 2019 with one simple swipe right and two amazing friends giving some truly amazing pep talks! Kelly and Chelsie met through tinder a few years back, and after months of just texting, Kelly finally convinced Chelsie to meet up. They met for a long walk at Brown Deer park where they both felt like they could just be their authentic selves. Kelly in his sweat pants and Chelsie asking for ice cream every chance she got. A deal was made that day... Kelly could kidnap Chelsie for life as long as ice cream was provided whenever she asked. He has kept to this deal to this day! A week later that was it! Chelsie pulled Kelly into the deep end quick, with a whole 4th of July party meeting the whole family. Lucky he fit right in! A year later while the whole world was shutting down and closing off they were growing together and took the next step, buying a fur baby together! After carefully searching they found their fur baby, Murphy, who quickly took over their world and still does to this day! In all honestly we are just two people who love each other dearly and just want to continue making memories together as a family, with all of our loved ones surrounding us. So we hope that with this next you can all be there with us!

Murphy was our first big step in our relationship and he was our first fur baby and will forever be our baby! We could not imagine a wedding day without him there for us!

Allison and I also met at my first school where at first we really weren't the best of friends, being locked in individual rooms all the time due to COVID kind of put a stop to that. After finally getting to know Allison I got to really see how much of an amazing person she really is and how much we have in common. Allison has now become one of the closest people in my life she has truly been there for me through so many ups and downs during this wedding and I wouldn’t want anyone else standing up with me on our special day.

Kayley and I met when we both were thrown into a crazy first year of teaching at a small charter school. We instantly got along and as they say "Trauma bonded" over all our crazy days as teachers. With time that bond has grown into a wonderful friendship. I truly couldn't have survived that first year without you and can't wait to continue to watch our lives grow. I am so happy to have you standing with me on our special day.

Chris and Kelly are truly always together! If you are looking for one you will more than likely find the other. Chris has been there through so much of Kelly's ups and down and has always been a shoulder to lean on. It only seems fitting that he is the one standing next to him on our special day!

Madi is the little sister I have always wanted! Madi has been there through so many important and crazy things in my life. She has always been a strong shoulder for me to turn to whenever it is needed. Madi will not only be my bridesmaid but will also be my “something blue” . It only is fitting that she would be something so important and meaningful on our special day.

Abby and I met when I accidentally called her Sarahi and scared the living out of her in college. At the time I didn’t know that we would also become such great friends. Abby has been through a lot of crazy years with me and has seen me at some of my worst times and has never turned me away. Her door was always open. I know at times she was sick of hearing my whining and complaining to her and Sarahi but she was there for them.

Sue has been there for me through thick and thin especially when it came to college, he is probably one of the only reasons I didn’t fail ASL. Sue has always been the out going and a hype man to my blunt honesty. Since the day Kelly and I first went out on a date Sue has been our cheerleader quietly cheering in the back. It only seems fit having our own personal hype man here on our special day.

Andrew K. is Kelly’s own personal hype man, he is truly one of the big reasons Kelly asked Chelsie to go out on a date. Andrew has always been there to help push Kelly to be his honest and true self no matter what. Kelly and Chelsie would not be getting married if it were not for Andrew giving Kelly his honest support. It only seems fitting to have his honest support on our special day.

David is like a brother to Kelly and has always been there for him through it all. David and Kelly have been close friends since 1st grade; he has always supported Kelly’s choices even when he has thought they were crazy. David has truly been a great friend to Kelly all his life and it only seems fitting to have him stand with us on our special day.

David

Andrew E. is Kelly’s cousin and has always been the voice of reason to Kelly’s craziness. He always seems to help calm a situation when it is needed and plan ahead. Andrew has seen Kelly through so much and has always been there to help him work through many obstacles. We couldn’t not have him stand with us as a voice of reason on our special day.

Sarahi has been my friend since I walked up to her and decided she was going to be. Sarahi met me at my most social time in college, while working in the Union we by chance came across each other and something about her just told me we were going to be friends! Since then she has been through so many ups and downs with me in my life. Sarahi is the friend that convinced me to be confident and not hold back who I really am. We all need that cheerleader rooting for us at our worst times and Sarahi has always been that for me. It is only fitting that the person who convinced me to go on a date with Kelly and give him a chance is the one officiating our wedding.
