Our Wedding

We met working at Musslewhite Mine and became friends first, spending late nights playing pool with our friends Justin and Alyssa. Justin encouraged Vince to call me and ask me out. I am so glad he did! On the day he proposed, Vince spent the afternoon with me while I finished some work; we drove around listening to music and then went to my sister’s apartment for family dinner before my parents returned to North Caribou Lake, where they’d been staying with our daughter. When we arrived I was holding our daughter and the room fell quiet—Vince came up with his hands behind his back, gave a little speech, and opened the ring box. I cried and said yes! My mom and sister were bawling, my dad was recording, and my grandma cheered on FaceTime. It was so sweet :)

Semi-formal (Dressy Casual) Our wedding on September 20, 2026, will be a polished but relaxed celebration—think refined, comfortable, and seasonally appropriate. For men: dress slacks or chinos with a button-down shirt; a blazer or sport coat is encouraged, tie optional. For women: cocktail dresses, skirts or dressy separates; jumpsuits are also a great option. Please choose lighter fabrics and soft, neutral or floral tones to complement our cream, warm and soft wedding.
