Tyler and I met while at work. I was working at Waukee Fire Department when we got a call that needed more than 1 person in the back assisting the patient. Upon calling an engine to drive us to the hospital, Tyler showed up and saved the day. What first caught my eye was his caring spirit lifting the patient's wife up and out of the passenger seat. The rest is history. Our love bloomed and blossomed quickly and we both knew quickly that we were meant to be together. He came into my life when I was set on being alone, becoming the human I never knew I truly needed. Tyler has the biggest heart and cares for me and everyone around him. Truly blessed our paths crossed.

Tyler first noticed me when I was a bartender at Shotgun Betty's then again at the PAE and then once more when he got hired on at Clive Fire Department while I was on shift. As he tells everyone, he looked at his best friend stating "I will marry that woman one day!" Boy was he right.

Tyler and I enjoy adventures and traveling together. We never stop making each other laugh to the point of tears. From watching movies or a show to a "late night out" our bellies hurt at the end of the night from the good food and addictive atmosphere.

Tyler got down on one knee on our first of many big vacations together to Florida. He got me good! Took me to a beautiful and interesting state park where on a bridge he popped the question. He had it all.. minus my dress. This poor photographer hid in the bushes sweating in the heat. She captured amazing photos of our very magical and special moment. I am truly blessed with this man.
