We want to make your stay as convenient and comfortable as possible! Below, you'll find several accommodation options for our guests. For those looking to stay closer to the venue in Umatilla, there are a number of cozy Airbnb options available nearby. For those who prefer a little more variety, Mount Dora, a charming town just a few minutes down the road, offers additional options for lodging. We’ve listed a few recommendations for you to consider in both locations, so you can choose the option that best fits your needs. We recommend booking early to secure your preferred accommodations.

There are a handful of cozy Airbnb options located closer to the venue in Umatilla! If you're looking for a place to stay, feel free to explore these convenient choices. There are also options in Mount Dora if you wanted to stay in town. They're available for booking, and we hope they offer you a comfortable and nearby spot to rest during the celebration.

We’re excited to share that we have a negotiated rate with the Hampton Inn in Mount Dora for our guests! This discounted rate is available for the nights of November 7th and 8th. Please note that this is not a room block, so availability is limited. We highly recommend booking your room well in advance to secure your stay. To book, simply call the hotel directly and ask for the negotiated rate for the Baird-Parkhurst wedding to receive the discount.

Hampton by Hilton Mount Dora 

For those looking for a charming place to stay in Mount Dora, The Lakeside Inn is another wonderful option available for booking. Located just a short distance from the venue, it offers a cozy and scenic stay with beautiful views of Lake Dora. We recommend checking it out if you're looking for a comfortable and picturesque place to rest during the celebration.

The Fox Den Country Inn is just a 3-minute drive or a 7-minute walk to our wedding venue. The inn offers a range of accommodations, including standard rooms, apartment-style rentals, and a charming cottage rental. With options at different price points, we recommend visiting their website to explore all the choices available. However, just as an FYI, the Inn typically books 3 months in advance of the requested date. That would make August the month our guests would be able to start making reservations with the Inn.

We’ve arranged a trolley to make it easy (and fun!) for our guests to get to and from the venue safely. The trolley will provide transportation for anyone staying at the Hampton by Hilton in Mount Dora.   Before the ceremony, the trolley will make a run from the Hampton by Hilton in Mount Dora to the venue. Once the wedding begins, it will make continuous trips back and forth between the venue and the hotels throughout the evening.   We encourage everyone who is staying at the two hotels listed to take advantage of this option and enjoy the night worry-free!   **Please Note** The trolley can accommodate about 30 passengers per trip, and both hotels are approximately 15–20 minutes away. We kindly encourage guests to also consider using Uber or another rideshare service for convenience.   The trolley will be at the Hampton by Hilton in Mount Dora to pick guests up for the ceremony at 2:30 PM.

If you're making a weekend out of it (and we hope you do!), Mount Dora and the surrounding Umatilla area offer plenty to explore—from lakeside views and local eats to nature trails and antique treasures. Here's a list of some of a few local spots we think our guests would be interested in.

We highly suggests guests check out Downtown Mount Dora! Wander through charming streets lined with local boutiques, art galleries, coffee shops, and antique stores. There are also plenty of great spots to grab a bite to eat—from casual cafés and bakeries to local restaurants with lake views. It’s a perfect place to spend a slow morning or afternoon.
