The story begins in 2016, when Cheyenne gets her first job at the most magical place in the world: Target. One day, Cheyenne ventures on a quest to the back rooms while in search of pizza dough. Cheyenne realizes she needs the assistance of a knight in shining armor to move a poorly placed pallet. Instead, she finds a pompous, bearded Team Lead in the store lecturing a group of employees. Out of options and time, she decides to request his assistance. He solved her pallet dilemma, and she was on her way.

Many moons later, Cheyenne overhears this mysterious bearded man talking videogames with a work buddy. She chimes in, familiar with this topic. The bearded man, known as Corey, hunts her down and gives her his Blizzard ID.

One thing led to another: They became best friends, moved in together, adopted a puppy, and even signed up for a Costco membership together! The rest is history.

What Cheyenne was expecting to be a double-date at Eddie V's in La Jolla turned out to be merely a couple's date. As the dinner came to a close, Corey suggested a romantic sunset stroll along the beach. Unfortunately, due to a delayed valet, Cheyenne and Corey didn't arrive at the beach until after nightfall.

Whilst walking along the waterline, a group of shadowy figures turned on their flashlights and stormed the couple. Cheyenne was sure her life was in peril... until she realized she knew these people! She turned around to tell Corey how crazy the coincidence was but he was kneeling behind her in the sand. He proposed and she said yes! After a round of celebratory hugs, the couple started their trek home.

But wait, there's more!

One erroneous turn on the pathway home let Cheyenne know more surprises were in store. Cheyenne was once again left floored when she walked into a surprise engagement party. Despite all of the lies, Corey did a fantastic job.
