This hotel is further from the venue but closer to the Mills / Reed family. It is 25 minutes from the venue. It is the closest hotel to the beach and downtown Encinitas.

There are also plenty of AirBnB's in the area for affordable prices as well! If you are coming from out of town, we would suggest looking for AirBnB's in Carlsbad (close beach town with a great "downtown" for restaurants, bars and shops), Encinitas (slightly farther beach town but where the Mills/Reed family lives. Also with a great "downtown" for restaurants, bars and shops), South Oceanside (beach town not far from the venue), San Marcos (inland town that is not a far drive from the beach but closer to the venue), or Vista (and inland town where the venue is located - not a far drive from Carlsbad beaches).
