How can I prepare to meet Baby Dixon?
Baby Dixon will be roughly 4 months old at the time of our wedding. He will be in the care of his aunt and my Matron of Honor, Morgan. We will not be passing Baby Dixon around in an effort to avoid illness and stress for both him and mom.
You can do your part by being vaccinated (TDAP and flu) or wear a mask, as well as consistently washing your hands.
We are excited to celebrate this day with our son and hope you understand!
Can I bring a date, my children, or a plus one?
Although we would love to have everyone join us when we say "I do" we do have a restricted capacity set by the venue. You will only be able to RSVP for those formally invited to the wedding.
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm. Please arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow time to park and find a seat.
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
We are having an unplugged ceremony. Meaning, once it begins, we will ask that all cell phones are put away and silenced. We absolutely love our photographer and trust in his ability to perfectly capture our special day. Once the ceremony ends, feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like.
What is Cocktail attire?
Cocktail attire lands somewhere between semi-formal and formal. Men can consider wearing any color suit with a tie or dress pants with a coat and tie. Ladies should consider wearing tea or full-length dresses and block/wedge heels. Please avoid jeans, casual attire, and any shade of white.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will happen outdoors and should be expected to last around 20-30 minutes. Cocktail hour will also be outside. The reception, however, will take place indoors with air conditioning, which is a blessing in the May Florida heat.
Will there be parking at the venue?
There is parking at the venue and there will be parking attendants directing you where to park. Consider carpooling as much as possible!
When do we need to RSVP by?
We must submit our final head count to our vendors 30 days prior to our event so we are asking that everyone RSVP by March 30th. If you do not RSVP by then, we will assume you are unable to attend.
