Are kids allowed?
Children 4 yrs old and up are welcome. We do ask that no infants and/or toddlers are present. We will not have a designated baby sitter. If you bring your child/children you are responsible for them.
What is the dress code?
The dress code is semi-formal.
What colors should we wear?
Feel free to wear any color EXCEPT white. If you show up in white you will be asked to leave.
Can we take photos with our phones during the ceremony?
You will be allowed a few minutes before the ceremony begins to take photos with your cell phone. When asked to put phones up please do so as we have hired a professional photographer. We absolutely do not want any cell phones in our professional photos.
Where should guests park? Is parking free?
Parking is free. All guests will park in the lot in front of the venue.
Can I bring a date?
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?
We do not have a hotel block for guests. However, there are many air bnbs, hotels, and inns in the surrounding areas.
Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?
Yes.
May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?
No. However, feel free to take your name card. We will also be providing wedding favors that you may take home as a keepsake.
Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
Absolutely! Be sure to use our wedding hashtag! #WildesgoestoBeauford
I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?
You may contact Bryant and I via our cellphones or social media. However, the day of the wedding we do ask that you refrain from contacting us as we will be busy.
What time should I arrive?
Anywhere from an hour to half an hour before the wedding. Please be on time so we can get everyone seated and get the party started.
What should I do if I can’t make it?
Please RSVP accordingly. If something comes up last minute please reach out to someone to let us know.
Does your wedding have a theme?
Yes, we are having a NYE wedding. We do ask that guests are present until 12 am to ring in the new year with Bryant and I as we celebrate our first holiday as one. At 12:15 am we will be doing a sparkler exit. If you can’t hang around that long we do understand.
Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?
Both will take place at Laytn’s Land-n in Yulee, FL.
What will the weather be like this time of year?
December weather in Yulee, FL. Daily high temperatures decrease by 5F, from 70F to 65F, rarely falling below 52F or exceeding 79F. Daily low temperatures decrease by 6F, from 51F to 46F, rarely falling below 31F or exceeding 64F.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be indoors.
