Chloe and Taylor’s story started where many OSU grads' stories begin—the Strip. It was a warm August weekend in 2022, just before the fall semester and football season kicked off. Taylor was out with his teammates, making the most of their last bit of free time, while Chloe was celebrating the start of a new semester with friends. Sometimes, when they went out, she and her friends would think about the possibility of meeting their future husband—little did she know, this time, the answer was her.

Amidst the buzz of the night, their paths crossed. Surrounded by friends, they struck up a conversation and hit it off instantly. What started as a chance encounter quickly turned into a genuine friendship. As the semester went on, their bond grew—Chloe would wish Taylor good luck before a game, and Taylor would (not so subtly) hint that he hoped to see her afterward. After a few months of friendship, Taylor finally decided to make his move. He invited Chloe over for dinner—his specialty, a perfectly grilled steak. That night, something shifted. Whether it was the meal, the effort, or just the right timing, their friendship naturally turned into something more. The picture above just so happens to be from the night they met—the start of it all.

From that moment on, they were inseparable. Their story, which started in Stillwater, has led them to this new and exciting chapter—one they can’t wait to celebrate with all of you!
