Emory and I met at church when we were only 2 months old. When we were younger we didn't like each other that much. We would tell on each other, fight with each other, and run to our parents to tell what the other one had done. It got better with age and maturity and we became friends.

In June of 2020, he invited me and some of his friends over to ride dirt bikes/four wheelers. We had a great time that day and we were the closest of friends that we had ever been. Later that night he brought me home and asked me to be his girlfriend and we have been together ever since.

On August 9, 2024 he asked me to marry him. It was the sweetest proposal. I thought that I was going to watch a play at Mars Hill University, that's what my mom told me anyway, but we took a detour on the way. We stopped by the church on the way and my mom called me to come in the church. I walk in and I hear "Can't Help Falling In Love" by Elvis Presley and there was rose petals and candles all the way downstairs to the nursery door. The door says "Where It All Began". He asked me to marry him in the place were we met for the first time.
