Our Wedding

It all started at the beginning of 2019 at everyone’s favourite energy company … British Gas. Two team leaders with very different management styles bought together under the same department, what could go wrong. Henry thought Chloe was a bit intense, and Chloe thought Henry was far too laid back. After months of working together Henry had got used to Chloe’s bold and confident style and started coaxing her out with the promise of alcohol and good food. And after several dates they finally had their first kiss in the Unisex toilets at Viaduct. Fast forward to Boxing Day 2019 where Chloe was thrown in the deep end meeting the Veigas family at Malcolm’s 60th Birthday. Chloe arrived at 12pm and as soon as she stepped foot in the door she was welcomed with a shot of whiskey and then a shot on the hour every hour, little did everyone know this was Chloe’s perfect scene, and she fitted right in. New Years Eve 2019 arrived and so did a trip to celebrate in Dublin. After drinking all day and night Chloe was in great spirits and tried to tip glasses with a Canadian man they’d met, to say cheers. Unfortunately, in her enthusiasm she missed his glass and just threw Malibu and Coke all over him. Henry had seen enough and went to make the relationship official on New Years Eve asking Chloe to be his girlfriend. 2020 arrived and so did Covid where for most this was a tough time, however, these two thrived, and they would say it was the making of their relationship. Henry moved into the shared accommodation Chloe was living at enjoying the virtual family quizzes, queuing to get in Tesco in single file and the lockdown parties. Henry realised he’d had the best time living with Chloe despite the strange circumstances and this naturally led them to their next decision … After 10 months of dating and coming out of Covid, they decided it was a great time to buy their first home in October 2020 and were on the property ladder. Shortly after moving in they were joined by Ginny &amp; Luna making it feel complete. After holidays to Dublin, Jamaica &amp; Ibiza they decided a more relaxing break was needed and booked to go to Menorca, where Henry knew this would be a great time to propose. They’d got a tour of a vineyard and wine tasting planned, Henry couldn’t have had a better place to pop the question. Despite Henry’s nerves on the day of the vineyard tour, the wine tasting after it soon removed any worries, in fact, he was so relaxed he almost forgot to propose! Henry managed to save the moment by dragging Chloe back out to the vines by suggesting they’d not seen all of the grapes. After some fumbling to get the ring out Henry got down on one knee amongst the vines and asked Chloe to marry him. And here we are, around the corner from the wedding day of Chloe &amp; Henry. It’s been a wild ride, but one full of laughter, love and amazing memories … here’s to many more as Husband &amp; Wife where the shenanigans will continue 😊&nbsp;
