We met in the fall of our senior year at Iowa State University. We were both enjoying a warm September day up on the pool deck of our apartment complex when we noticed each other. We hit it off instantly and started talking from there; our first date was at Blaze Pizza and it's still one of our favorite places to eat when we visit Ames.

Fast forward a few years, Jake pulled off the sweetest surprise proposal in Reiman Gardens. He continued the surprises by taking me to lunch on the rooftop of Wallaby's where our families were waiting to celebrate.

We are so thankful for everyone who has helped get us to where we are, and we cannot wait to celebrate in the gardens with you!
