Chloe's POV:

Evan and I met at Chicken Days in Wayne, NE in July of 2019. I had shown up to a party with some friends and didn't know anyone there besides the party host. We were going into our sophomore year of college and most of the people there were upperclassmen. He told us that if we didn't talk to anyone there besides ourselves that he'd find someone to talk to us. A few minutes later, the host called Marcus Kring over with his friends. One of the friends was Evan. Evan did not try to talk to me and didn't really even pay any attention to me. Marcus, in true Marcus fashion, was a social butterfly and talked to me and we realized that we had a mutual friend.

The whole time that Marcus was talking to me, I was looking at Evan and wondering who the cute brunette with brown eyes was. Marcus asked for my Snapchat and I said to Evan, "Oh I better get yours too otherwise that isn't nice..." LOL.

Right after this, I started a conversation with Evan by stating "Do you like my Chacos and the tan lines that they gave me??" LOL. I told him that I liked his cross necklace. We talked for about five minutes and I was instantly interested.

My friends and I were leaving and when we got in the car I said, "I call dibs. I'm going to marry that guy someday!" (My name is still "chloe mae dibsed me" on Evan's phone). I couldn't even remember Evan's name and he was referred to as "Chicken Days Boy". :)

Evan ended up Snapchatting me a few days after Chicken Days and we instantly hit it off. After about a month of talking, Evan came and visited me in Wayne. We had such a great time and have been together ever since!

Evan's POV:

I was in Wayne visiting my friend Marcus Kring for Chicken Days. Marcus and I went to a party. We were visiting with some of Marcus' friends when we heard, "Hey Kring! Come talk to these girls. They're losers and don't know anyone here!" Marcus and I went over and talked to this group of girls. In this group, one girl stood out in particular. Chloe spoke up right away and asked if I liked her tan lines from her Chaco sandals. When it was time for us to leave, Chloe was quick to get our Snapchats. We talked for a little bit before our fist date at Fiesta Brava in Wayne.
