In typical millennial fashion, They met online! Ethan invited Chloe out for dinner. She had already convinced her dad to grill her steak that evening. But, she agreed to meet Ethan for drinks after. She told her friends she was just going to go rule him out. They went to Zwanzigs to get a beer which turned into them closing out Zwanzigs that evening and going for a walk downtown to continue conversation. Later that week, they saw each other a few more times and talked daily. It wasn't long after that, when Ethan realized he was in trouble. It took Chloe a few more weeks before she realized that maybe she wasn't Just going to rule him out... After a couple of months, it was time for Chloe, the one who was never having kids to meet Ethan's 2 children, Kealy, and Charlie. It was the first weekend of May when Ethan and Chloe took the kids bowling and to get ice cream they had a great time!

A few more months go by and it's time for Chloe to make some decisions on housing. But, she spends an awful lot of time at Ethan's. They decide that while it was sooner than either of them thought it would be, it makes the most sense to move in together. They rented a new home where Kealy and Charlie lived with them. For Someone who doesn't want kids, she sure does love spending time with them, caring for them, and spoiling them.

May of 2023 came and they were getting ready to celebrate what Chloe called Her Anniversary with the kids. She had big plans of taking them to dinner and going duckpin bowling to celebrate. However, Ethan had bigger plans. While they were at dinner, he was going to propose. Except..... Kealy had bigger plans. She came down with Appendicitis! So on Chloe's anniversary with the kids, they spent it in the hospital, anxiously waiting for Kealy to get out of surgery. Not quite the place, time, or emotional state for a proposal. So Ethan waited until the next weekend they had the kids and Kealy was healthy. They went to dinner, and he finally got to ask Chloe to be his wife. 3 days later, Ethan had rotator cuff surgery. Instead of jumping right into wedding planning, they decided they were going to enjoy the summer.

They spent the summer getting Ethan through recovery, enjoying the new home that they acquired in early 2023, letting Chloe get acclimated to her new role at her Job that she accepted mid-2022, and enjoying the much-needed break with the kids. Once summer had passed Chloe finally had the green light to start wedding planning their dream wedding! (As if she hadn’t already started) Chloe has always wanted to get married on the beach, so that is what they are doing, In Mexico!! In their few years together, they have faced a lot of ups and downs. From Injuries, surgeries, and deaths, to promotions, new homes, new goals, and more. Despite it all, they never fail to pause and laugh with each other. From their I love you more, I love you most banter, to Ethan's 3 kisses that he never forgets to give Chloe, their love shines through every day that they are together.
