Jacob and Chloe met sometime in 6th grade because they were on the same team "Polaris." Jacob doesn't have much recollection of meeting Chloe, but she vividly remembers seeing him do a backflip in gym and thinking he was very cool.

Jacob and Chloe's friend groups started hanging out and they shared a gym class at the start of their senior year. They bonded over being the two people who would drive everyone around. They both shared a love for coffee and would often run into each other at the starbucks that Chloe's friend Eryn worked at that was conveniently the closest one to Jacobs house.

Jacob asked Chloe on their first date in early October and asked her to the "Friendship" homecoming dance on October 11th 2019. He came early and had the starbucks barista write "friendship?" on the cup, which did confuse Chloe at first as she thought that the barista was asking to be friends.

Jacob and Chloe along with their friend Hannah went to pasta house before heading to homecoming. They wore cheetah print to the dance and stayed for around 10 minutes before leaving and watching Indiana Jones at a friends house. When it was time for Chloe to go home, Jacob walked her out and they had their first kiss.

Jacob and Chloe first told each other they loved each other around late December/early January. After these words were exchanged they were a lovey dovey nuisance to anyone that was around them at that time.

When COVID happened, Jacob and Chloe were initially unable to hang out in person, which was hard but they facetimed every day. Both their sets of parents eventually were annoyed enough with their moping about not seeing each other that they were allowed to start hanging out in person in April.

They graduated!

They went on their first vacation together and while having a walk on the beach, they saw a turtle come out of the ocean. They proceeded to watch this turtle for 3 hours and she ended up laying eggs. As the turtle was walking on the beach, Jacob and Chloe looked up and saw a shooting star. This was arguably one of the most amazing things they've experienced together.

Jacob and Chloe went to different colleges at first. With all the COVID restrictions, seeing each other was hard but they did manage for Chloe to sneak into TJ Hall one night.

Chloe and her roomate Grace made several trips to Rolla to visit Jacob during spring semester of 2021. There were even some days they would come for the night and head back to school the next day.

Chloe transferred to STLCC for a semester to take a few pre-reqs before going to S&T. Taking only 2 classes, she basically spent all her time in Rolla with Jacob and his roomates, even helping Jacob with his chores in his frat house.

Jacob and Chloe finally had a reason for her to be over at his frat all the time when she transferred to S&T.

They finally were able to wear their prom outfits to a Delta Sig formal. During this semester Jacob lavaliered Chloe and she became a "brother" of the house.

Chloe got to return the favor the fall semester of 2022, when her sorority sisters in Zeta made him the sweetheart of that semester.

2023 was filled with traveling and Jacob and Chloe got an apartment together in Rolla!

Jacob graduated! Summer 2024 they were long distance again with Jacob's job being in STL and Chloe's internship in KC.

Jacob proposed right before fall semester started for Chloe! It was just the two of them which couldn't have been any better :)
