The photo above was actually the first picture we ever took as an official couple... crazy that it has been nearly 5 1/2 years since that day!

Chloe and Jackson always knew of each other throughout their days at Skyridge Middle School and Camas High School, however it wasn't until they found themselves in the same chemistry class junior year of high school that they began to talk. Chloe's strong suit was not math or science, but lucky for her, Jackson's was. She knew she wasn't going to get through this chemistry class without the help of Jackson so as time went on he offered her homework help and in turn, a strong friendship developed.

They both shared similar morals, family values, humor and their personalities balanced each other out. Throughout junior year, the two of them quickly realized their friendship might just be deeper than "homework help in science class." Chloe's longterm goal was to simply find a date to the fair in the summer and Jackson might've landed him that position.

By the end of junior year and after many "dates" later to the local skatepark, Chloe and Jackson found themselves far past the stage of being "just friends." Jackson then asked Chloe to be his girlfriend in August of 2019, and Chloe turned him down. She was scared of commitment and asked him to give her more time.

They eventually made it official on September 14, 2019. That was just after the start of their senior year of high school. Time together was spent at many football games, school dances, and ice cream dates.

Unfortunately, in spring of 2020 COVID hit which changed their plans for the future. Jackson was still set to head off to Whitworth University in Spokane in the fall to study and play football. Chloe stayed home for a semester due to the University of Utah being completely shut down.

Many FaceTime calls and visits later, Chloe decided to go to Whitworth for the spring of her freshman semester and was able to be with Jackson and also met her forever friends, some of which are in her bridal party.

After that semester, Chloe headed off to the University of Utah where her and Jackson were yet again challenged with managing a long distance relationship. Countless trips back and forth to Spokane were made during this time and Chloe knew Utah wasn't where she was meant to be.

After her sophomore year, she moved back home to Camas to live with her family, work, and continue her education through Washington State University online. Jackson quit football at the end of his sophomore year and was continuing his Health Science degree at Whitworth.

A prayer was answered and the friends that Chloe met during her time at Whitworth called to let her know that a spot opened up in their house and that they are looking for an extra roommate.

Chloe knew this was what was meant to be and moved up to Spokane to be closer to Jackson and her friends. They both still live in Spokane with their friends and will be heading down to Arizona in the summer once their leases are up!

Through navigating a high-school relationship, doing long distance, integrating families, and finishing college together, they have experienced many firsts together. They are proud to say that they were each other's first "real" boyfriend/girlfriend and the last.

They have enjoyed all stages of life together and can't wait to continue their journey together, with marriage being the next step. Jackson and Chloe are so grateful to be surrounded by incredible friends and family, and can't wait for you to join them on their special day!

And if your wondering ... no Chloe didn't land Jackson as a fair date because he was out of town. BUT, she landed not only her future husband, but also her best friend for life and that is more than she could dream for.
