Chloe and Ben’s story began back at Loyola Academy, where we first met freshman year of high school. We shared several classes—like Latin and Math—and always had a little crush on each other. Even then, there was a quiet, easy connection between us that just felt right.

Fast forward to the end of high school, we finally started dating the summer before Chloe left for Indiana University and Ben headed to Miami of Ohio. With only a two-hour drive between us, weekend visits became second nature. We shared two college experiences, built friendships with each other’s circles, and made memories that made those four years incredibly special. Now, after seven years of love, growth, laughter (and plenty of road trips), we live in Chicago—surrounded by the friends who have been there since the beginning.

On February 24th, 2024, Ben got down on one knee on the rooftop of NoMi in Chicago—the very spot where we had celebrated our first anniversary years earlier. Chloe had absolutely no idea it was coming. Ben told her they were going to a work event, and with the help of Chloe’s mom and sisters (who somehow managed to get her in white), she walked into the moment of a lifetime. The proposal was more than we could have imagined—thoughtfully planned, overflowing with love, and a memory we’ll treasure for a lifetime.

Afterward, we headed to Erie Café, where our families were waiting to celebrate with a dinner, heartfelt toasts, and a slideshow of our journey together. Later, our closest friends joined in to keep the celebration going—and it truly became the best night of our lives.

Now, we’re counting down the days until October 4th, 2025, when we’ll celebrate this next chapter with all of you—the people who’ve shaped our story and supported our love. Bring your dancing shoes—and maybe an extra shirt (Kevin Odle, we mean you)—because it’s going to be a night we’ll never forget!
