Sunken Gardens will be open to our guests starting at 4:30pm and the ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm. Please take afternoon/commuter traffic into consideration, especially if coming from Tampa or are not staying in downtown. If you arrive after the ceremony has started, you will have to wait to join the celebration until cocktail hour has started. Thank you for understanding!
How do i get to the venue?
Head towards the entry doors of Sunken Gardens, there will be a small gate and security letting guests in.
Once you've entered the gardens, signage and staff will assist you to the ceremony location at the North Lawn.
*Note: Typical patrons visiting the gardens will also be exiting gardens around this time*
Is there parking?
Yes, there is a large parking lot on-site.
Indoor or outdoor wedding?
All events will be at Sunken Gardens. The ceremony and cocktail hour will both be held outdoors while the reception will be inside the Garden Room. Staff will assist guests getting to each location throughout the evening (elevator on-site for accessibility).
Is there a dress code?
The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire, spring color palette is encouraged!
Are kids welcome?
Although we love your kiddos, our celebration is an adults-only evening.
Can I bring a date?
We would love this evening to be an intimate celebration with our favorite people. Because of this, we will have a select amount of guests and can only accommodate those listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
We will have an unplugged ceremony, we want you to be present and enjoy. Thank you in advance!

Will there be an after party?
Our time at Sunken Gardens will end at 10:30pm Friday evening. For those interested in continuing the celebration, the bride and groom will be headed downtown for a casual after party. Location TBD, we will update the website once a location is confirmed.
