Our Wedding

Will and I aren’t the typical couple since we are both police officers!  However the reason our journey is so unique is because of our entire journey up to this point.  I became a sworn officer 1 week before our engagement.  However let me start at the beginning: He picked me up at my apartment on July 11, 2017.  I was panicking, frantically trying to do my hair and finish my makeup.  As usual, I was running late.  My heart was racing as I opened my door and saw him for the first time.  After an awkward hug and meeting my cat Westley, we headed out to dinner.  We went to the River House in Portsmouth. After dinner we walked down by the water where we talked for hours. At this point in my life I had just begun my journey to become a police officer.  I was out of shape, and knew virtually nothing about the process.  Will had been an officer for 4 years and was more than excited to help me on my journey.  Before long, we were running together, doing push-ups, sit-ups and getting ready to apply to departments. I would ride with Will during his shifts and it almost became our date night.  There were highs and lows, but Will never faltered in his support for me to fulfill my dream of becoming an officer.  Finally on December 10th after over a year of working towards my dream, I was hired for my current police department.  7 days later after a night of delicious Thai food at our favorite restaurant, Will brought me to the spot we went on our first date by the water.  Although much colder, it was just as beautiful.  The water sparkled with the reflection of lights from the Naval Yard across the bay and the interstate bridge overhead symbolized our connection and upbringing in New Hampshire and Maine. Will got down on one knee and shaking and crying I screamed Yes! We are so excited to share our big day and part of our journey in life with all of you!

Will and I LOVE Christmas. In fact, we love it so much that we decided to have a Christmas themed wedding! Since Thanksgiving will officially be over, what's a better way to kick off the spirit of the holidays?!

Meet Sarah! Fun, bubbly, and laid back, she can go from a night in with Netflix and wine to the clubs in Boston for a night out! Sarah recently graduated from Plymouth State University with her Masters in Health Education!

Meet Rachel! She leaves a trail of glitter and sass everywhere she goes! Rachel is a Microscopy Technician for the Jackson Laboratory in Bar Harbor, Maine. Rachel can also test anyone's knowledge of Game of Thrones or Harry Potter! Try it out when you meet her!

Amy is witty, crafty, and outgoing. She expresses her creative and bubbly personality as an interior designer in Portland, ME. She can help anyone pick out the perfect material and color of curtains, but also makes a wonderful yoga partner!

Abbey is my funny, sweet, and beautiful cousin. Growing up together, Abbey and I would find fun in doing hair and make up or dancing around to music. Abbey runs her own daycare and is a certified and talented hair stylist and esthetician. Her biggest and most successful accomplishment was becoming the mother of her son Henry.&nbsp;
