Summer of 2015, Chloe and Zach were working together at Galaxy Theaters in Gig Harbor. As the summer drew to a close they begun to hang out together, neither thought anything would come of this acquaintanceship. The weekend Chloe left for college, the two realized being apart was not as easy as anticipated. So what started as a coworker friendship, quickly turned into Zach driving from Port Orchard to Bellingham every weekend for dorm room date nights and exploring this new city together. The following year Zach moved into his own apartment down the street from Chloe’s dorm and they begun to create their new home. Finding forever friends, chosen family, and building a foundation for what would be the rest of their lives.
Traditions became a staple in their life in Bellingham. Anual pumpkin patch trips, finding the smallest pumpkin possible, naming him Gordon, and keeping him on the bookshelf for FAR too long. The Skagit tulip festival, rain or shine. Seeing every Marvel movie on opening weekend. Watching Over the Garden Wall every fall with our closest friends, making spiced apple cider and singing along. Hammock dates, re-watching Friends and Avatar the Last Airbender until our Netflix account asks if they are okay, and the occasional cheese board every time they make a new friend.
Four years ago, they brought home Doug. The perfect addition to their family, and by far the best birthday present Chloe could have asked for. Doug has brought a new level of joy and adventure into their lives. 
Chloe and Zach want to thank everyone for being part of their special day, when they can truly come together and start the next chapter of their lives.
