Meeting at a charity event (aka at a bar), in December of 2018, Greig had won a neon beer sign as part of a silent auction. Chloe then made fun of him by calling him “Michael Scott” from the tv show “The Office”, Chloe’s all time favorite show. The relationship slowly developed over the next few months, eventually blossoming into what it is today.

Most people hated the pandemic, but this gave these two love birds nothing but time to spend together. It was during this time that Chloe realized Greig had a serious fantasy sports issue and Greig realized Chloe could quote “The Office” line for line. Greig also noticed Chloe’s possibly unhealthy addiction to all things Bravo TV and, soon, Greig was watching Kate yell at people with her on “Below Deck”. Spending time with each other at her parents pool, hanging with the Big Doods, and enjoying each others company more and more, they decided it was time to take the next logical step to evolve their relationship….

And they did this by adopting two 6 month old mini Doods on December 4, 2021 (this was also the same day they moved in together. Can you imagine being Greig here??? Going from living on his own to now having THREE ladies in the house? Bless this man!!!), and named them Sophie and Ella. Quickly understanding the importance of being teammates with each other to keep these little things alive and from going potty in the house, they both knew that if they could possibly raise these dogs together on limited sleep, constantly taking them out in the middle of winter, and relying on each other when the other wasn’t at their best, they just might be able to make a lifetime together.

Fast forward to December 4, 2022. One year after the girls “Got Ya Day”, Greig proposed to Chloe under the guise of a Bears football game party. With our closest family and friends at our house, Greig proposed to Chloe and thankfully, she said yes!!!

Since that day, it’s been all about the big day!!! Chloe has really taken the reigns of wedding planning, and has succeeded every step of the way! Greig has really taken the reigns in answering questions about linens, borders on stationary, and nodding in approval about floral designs.

So as excited as they are for July 27, 2024, when the “You and Me Become We”, they know it will be more exciting to have all of their family, friends, loved ones, and a few Doodles in attendance to help them celebrate their love for each other! They can’t wait to see everyone there!
