Josiah: "Chloe and I met in middle school when we were twelve years old. We remained close friends throughout high school and college. We reconnected after we both graduated college and began our careers, all starting with an invitation to a beach trip and a wedding. About six months later I convinced her to begin dating because I knew I could not remain just friends any longer. On October 22nd, I asked her to be my girlfriend and we've been inseparable since. I knew she was the woman I wanted to marry after only a couple of months together. Once I had perfected her engagement ring, I began creating the perfect night for a proposal. I proposed to her in a private candlelit greenhouse in Tennessee, and she said yes! Now, we are ecstatic to build a life together in Athens, Georgia while we grow alongside each other."
Chloe: "Josiah and I didn't meet until we were twelve years old, despite us living five minutes apart almost our entire lives. In fact, we really didn't start hanging out until we were in the eighth grade after he asked me to be his date to the middle school farewell dance. In typical pre-teen fashion, we were awkward and didn't really know how to put our feeling for each other into words. And although everyone at Valley Point Middle School "shipped" us, we basically "friend-zoned" each other... for twelve whole years. I'm more guilty to that than him, yet it didn't stop him from pursuing me after seeing me at a Braves game post - (college!) graduation. That very brief encounter we had in the stands was the trajectory of taking our relationship to the next level. That is, after two beach trips, a couple of SEC football games, and a wedding. Growing up, I never really thought of getting married. However, shortly after Josiah and I started dating, I knew he was the man I was supposed to marry all along. All good things come to those who wait, and we cannot wait to start this next chapter of our lives together."
