Jack and I both knew we had something special from the very beginning.We realized before our first date that we had some mutual connections, and we spent our first date talking for hours. Jack left town for a month, and we kept in touch with plans to go out again when he came back. When he finally got back, our second date was even better than the first. I vividly remember the night I knew I was in deep - we went to a Flatland Cavalry concert at Red Rocks a couple days after our second date. As we were dancing, Jack looked at me and said “how do you feel about long distance?” and I knew that I would do just about anything if it was for him.We treasured every moment of our months together in the Springs before Jack had to move. Once we became long distance, I quickly realized that I didn’t want to be apart from Jack any longer than I had to (Jack is much wiser than I am and had already realized that). On March 26, I answered the easiest question of my life and said YES to being Jack’s wife! We hope you can join us in praising God for the beautiful gift of love He has given us. We are so grateful to Him for His perfect timing and His grace and love for us as His children!!!

If you are flying to Alabama and looking for a short or more convenient trip, we recommend using Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport. This airport is around 20-30 minutes from our venue with lots of great lodging options close by. If you are looking to make a long weekend out of your trip and explore our beautiful state, you might also consider flying in and out of Huntsville International Airport. This airport is one hour north of our venue with great lodging options as well! For lodging, we recommend embracing Alabama's Southern charm and finding an AirBnB or bed &amp; breakfast with some character! Birmingham and Huntsville also both have plenty of hotel options.
