We were just two middle school kids secretly watching each other compete in track from a distance, yet neither with the courage to say anything. After a couple years of knowing who each other were, Caleb's dad Mike finally walked up to Kim and James at a basketball game telling them that his son had an eye for their daughter. That day in 2008 set everything in motion. A few weeks later there was a New Years Eve party at the Kennedy's house where we finally talked for the first time, exchanged phone numbers, and the rest was history! We dated all through high school, grew up together, and decided to attend OSU together after graduation. We split ways halfway through college and the few years following, yet never lost touch. We were able to grow into the people we wanted to be and become the best versions of ourselves, and found our way back to each other as best friends and partners in life. Caleb proposed on New Years Eve this year and made a special day in our relationship even more special by asking me to be his wife!! We are so excited to have made it to this point and thankful for our journey that brought us here! We can not wait to share our special day with each one of you! Thank you for being a part of our lives and celebrating with us!!
