March is generally pleasant with mild temperatures. You can expect daytime temperatures to range between 68°F to 73°F with comfortable humidity levels. Lows in the evenings can dip as low as 55°F. The reception will end as twilight approaches.

What happens if there’s bad weather?

While March tends to have less rain than the summer months, there’s always a slight chance of showers, so we recommend keeping an eye on the forecast as the big day approaches. In the event of inclement weather, our wedding ceremony will be moved indoors to The Panama City Center for the Arts, 19 E 4th St, Panama City, FL 32401. We will notify all guests as soon as possible should the weather require a venue change, so please be sure to check your email or our wedding website for updates.

What can we expect at the reception?

Our reception will be a delightful one-hour celebration that kicks off with a traditional receiving line as you exit the ceremony. This is a moment for the bride and groom to express gratitude for sharing this special day with them. Some tips for keeping this line moving, come forward together as a family to ensure everyone can greet the couple together, and keep your greetings to about 15-20 seconds. Chloe and Alex have chosen opening seating. They want their families and friends to mingle and enjoy getting to know each other. So after the receiving line, please enjoy refreshments and socialize as the newlyweds prepare for the cake-cutting and dancing. To wrap it up, we’ll have a bubble-filled send-off as we embark on the adventure of a lifetime. It’s a short and sweet celebration filled with love and joy.

Will there be dinner and drinks?

No there will not be a dinner. Instead, we’re keeping things simple with a vintage cake and coffee reception. Along with a delicious cake, you’ll enjoy light refreshments, coffee, tea, and infused water. It’s the perfect way to savor the moment before we share some dancing and a heartfelt send-off. There will be plenty of time after the party to grab dinner in the beautiful downtown area or head over to the beach. To find out more about Panama City Beach check out their website at www.visitpanamacitybeach.com. If you are interested in pre or post dinner cocktails there are some fun spots downtown to wet your whistle.

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. Our professional photographer and videographer will be capturing each special moment, allowing you to fully be present and enjoy the experience. After the ceremony, you’re more than welcome to take photos during the reception. Feel free to share them with the bride and groom. Look for the QR code at your table to share the memories.
