Brad and I met like almost all couples do nowadays, on the internet. Our first date was at Frenchy’s Outpost and with COVID protocols we were sat at a table outside, basically on the main road, while we had some drinks. Then we went to Honeymoon Island so we could watch the sunset. He obviously listened to things I liked. It was a pretty perfect first date.

Since that first date, we have traveled to 14 states and 5 different countries. Everywhere from the corn fields in Arkansas to a castle in Ireland to the glaciers in Iceland. But nothing topped our trip to Las Vegas in March 2023.

What I thought was “just” a trip to see Taylor Swift on her world renowned Eras Tour turned out to be a trip that was much bigger than that. Brad did what he is best at, pulled off something bigger and crazier than I could have ever imagined. Despite only getting tickets 10 days before the show and barely planning anything until a week out he pulled off the surprise of a lifetime.

During Invisible String Brad got down on one knee (for a second I swore he fell) and showed me a gorgeous ring and asked me to marry him. I was speechless. He even had to prompt me “nod your head, lots of people are watching” - which you can then see on multiple video angles, because of course Brad thought to make sure that happened too. The rest of the concert was kind of a blur, but hopefully I can convince him to take me to an international show now.

Brad is my best friend, ride or die, best papa to Brody, love of my life. And I am so excited to celebrate with all of our closest family and friends in paradise.

Yes, Chloe & I met online, on a dating app named Hinge —”The app meant to be deleted”. That tagline Hits Different when you actually get to delete the app.

After a reasonable time “talking“ (whatever that means) and Chloe questioning why I had a careless driving charge dismissed in Alaska (it was the other driver in the Getaway Car that was careless!) we decided to meet.

We had a drink, on the side of a causeway — we’re all old enough to remember Covid-times. I was so Enchanted upon meeting Chloe, I showed up with my Covid-mullet; I was pretty sure she thought I just crawled Out Of The Woods of Pasco County.

It was The Best of Day-tes, interestingly we met on the same date as Tom & Mandy’s wedding anniversary. The first drink progressed to another a little further down the road, out of the trunk of my car in a Honeymoon Island parking lot. There’d be no Champagne Problems this night, Covid-times called for Vodka while we watched the sunset.

A few dates later, Chloe would come to my home and soon she’d Stay Stay Stay as we quarantined from the pandemic. I remember Chloe being impressed that I had actual window treatments, not a blanket for privacy from the Midnight Rain.

Long Story Short, This Is Me Trying to tell the beginning of The Story Of Us. It’s Nice To Have A Friend who’s a (legal) Mastermind and a beautiful soul to share the rest of my life with all wrapped up in one; it’s something I could have never imagined in my Wildest Dreams.
