Chloe and Brent's first date! Chloe was working with Brent's sister, Brooke, at Starbucks while they were in college. Brooke had been subtly dropping suggestions to Brent and Chloe that they should meet. After seeing pictures of Brent, Chloe deemed Brent "wasn't her type" and Brent wasn't interested in dating at the time. After a few months of casually bringing up the other, Brooke was successful. Brent shot Chloe a message on 1/16/2018. After *freaking out*, Chloe responded like the ~cool girl~ she was. During the next week, the two were smitten with each other, sending text novels back and forth between Brent's shifts and Chloe's classes. The two set a date to meet in person on 1/23/2018 at Top Golf. Brent picked her up in the Blazer, with our bridesmaid Hailey spying on us from her car to make sure Brent was real. HA! The two hit it off and didn't want the night to end. Top Golf was followed by a date to the Union, a quest to pick up our groomsman Mason, a pizza date, a slow drive back home, a kiss at the doorstep, and a promise to be in touch soon. Chloe kept Hailey up alllllll night telling her all about the guy that "wasn't her type". ;)

Easter Celebrations in Tucson. Chloe asked Brent if they were "officially" boyfriend and girlfriend on this day, much to Brent's surprise, which he responded "Well, I sure hope so!!!"

The crew finally celebrates Brent's dirty 30 with a surprise birthday party at the Hall's...the party had to be postponed multiple times secondary to Brent's wild land assignment being extended... It was tough to keep this one a secret!

Brent leaves his department in Sierra Vista and starts his Academy with Golder Ranch Fire District.

Brent graduates from Academy and is officially a firefighter/paramedic with Golder Ranch Fire! Chloe was able to pin him at his graduation ceremony.

Brent finally pops the question!! On a ski lift no less... This proposal was filled with total shock, a prank, snowboarding, stress, laughs, tears, and inexplicable excitement.

Chloe's family and friends throw C + B an epic engagement party.
