Rockland is located in the midcoast of Maine. We suggest three options for those flying in.
- Portland (PWM) is the closest and most convenient major airport. Rockland is a 90 minute drive up scenic Route 1.
- Boston Logan (BOS) has more flights and is a 3 hour drive up to coast to Rockland.
- Knox County Regional Airport (RKD) offers flights via Cape Air originating or connecting through Boston and New York (JFK) and lands you 10 minutes from the heart of Rockland.
Rockland is a small, coastal town with an active downtown. However, hotels are limited relative to its high tourist demand. Below are our recommended options but we highly encourage our guests to book quickly to ensure their preferred option is available. Airbnbs and other home rentals are also an option.
