What language do they speak?

English is their primary language, however Spanish and Creole are very common.

What items are a must bring?

A swim suit (duh). A tumbler is incredibly handy. The island is very dusty so a few extra changes of clothes if you plan to drive around much.

Are there vegan options?

We are doing our best to offer a vegan option for each of the meals that we're catering, but it is an island nation and therefore specialty foods are difficult to come by. There are plenty of beans and vegetables though!

What is the exchange rate and can I use US dollars?

Everywhere accepts credit cards and US dollars. The exchange rate is 2:1 (BZN to USD).

Will I have cell service and internet?

AT&T and Verizon have service without any extra charges. The resort has WiFi.

What is the Belize country code and do I have to dial it?

The country code is +501, but it is only required when calling from the US. Using your cell phone in Belize you only dial the area code and phone number as usual.

Do I need a prescription to buy medications?

Yes. It's not like a Mexican pharmacy.
