Mine and Chris’s dads were friends first. I was about 13 1/2 and Chris was 16 when we first met. I actually first met him at the flea market when I was with his sister. He asked his sister to ask me out and I said yes. The first time we hung out we only held hands. My nails were painted white and his were painted black lol. My mom said I couldn’t date him so we only lasted like a week 🤷‍♀️

I hadn’t seen Chris since we were teenagers, but our paths crossed again in 2010. My mom randomly asked me to take her to work that day, on my way home I decided I wanted a cappuccino so I stopped at Speedway on Fishburg in Huber Heights. I heard someone say my name and I looked up, it was Chris, but I didn’t recognize him at first. We talked for a minute and then I left. Later that day I got a message from him on Facebook. He told me I was still as beautiful as I was when we were younger. The funny thing is I was in the sweatpants and t-shirt I had fallen asleep in the night before, no makeup and I hadn’t even brushed my teeth yet 🤭

Unfortunately we did not stay together, nothing bad happened we just had a lot going on in our lives at the time

Beginning of 2022, 11 years since the last time I saw Chris, he reached out to me on Facebook. We met for dinner and caught up. I wasn’t quite ready to date yet so we didn’t talk much. Then in September I saw a picture on Snapchat of his Halloween decorations and I sent him the fire eye emoji. We started talking and decided to meet up again. He told me we either date or nothing because he didn’t want to just be my friend. It all worked out because here we are, more than friends 💕
