First Trip -Before we even started dating, we joined our friend group on a trip to Arizona. We spent a week in Scottsdale, making memories and enjoying each other's company!

Fourth of July -Before we officially started dating, we had already spent two previous Fourth of July celebrations together. This particular photo was taken just a few weeks before Chris asked me on our first date.

First Concert - Our first concert together happened before we started dating. We went to see George Strait at Arrowhead Stadium with a few friends.

Second Date - This photo captures our second date, as we didn't take any pictures on our first one. Our second date started with sushi, followed by a visit to our favorite ice cream spot. Then, we took a walk and answered some fun questions in a jar at the River Walk in North Kansas City. Chris would recreate this day for his proposal, almost exactly a year later!

Officially Dating - This photo was taken the day Chris asked me to be his girlfriend! Our day was spent at a royals game followed by ice cream again :)

More Adventures - A couple of months into dating, Chris took me on a clay shooting date, and we had a blast! Although I'm not sure if my aim was good enough to qualify me for hunting trip with him.... jury is still out.

The Chaszar's - In October, Chris' family made a visit from Oak Harbor, Washington, and it was my first time meeting them. The weekend was a blast, filled with all the classic Kansas City experiences – we indulged in lots of BBQ and even went on a tour of Boulevard Brewing.

First Trip - Our first trip together took us to Scottsdale Arizona. We spent the week with lots of hiking. And of course, many trips followed after this one!

First Holiday - Our first holiday together was Thanksgiving, and we celebrated it in Denver. It was my first time meeting Chris's extended family, as seen in the photo. They have this fun tradition of making shirts for everyone, they were nice with mine since it was my first appearance :)

Skiing Trip - Our love for travel continued with a trip to Flagstaff, where we spent a weekend skiing . But that wasn't all – during this trip, we picked up a fun little hobby: film photography. It's a passion that has stuck with us ever since!

Fourth of July - Our 3rd consecutive 4th of July celebration together, we can officially say it's one of our favorite days of the year.

Adventures - we went to Washington and spent the weekend exploring the Pacific Northwest and a highlight of the day was crabbing!

Weddings - This is one of the many weddings we attended this year.

The Proposal - We began the day with a visit to the downtown farmers market, followed by our favorite sushi spot, and ended with ice cream at Betty Ray's. But here's the kicker... Chris had a big plan. Later, we walked along the River Walk and made a pit stop at Percheron for a drink. Little did I know, he'd reserved the whole rooftop for us. When we got there, Chris surprised me with a book and a letter. He then dropped on one knee and asked me to marry him, with both our families there. It was a day filled with a lot of joy and happiness & the beginning of our next adventure together.

The Proposal Evening - the night after Chris's proposal, he had one more surprise. We headed to Lake Lotawana, and there, all my friends and family were waiting to celebrate our big day.
