We first crossed paths in 2018. For years, we were just members of the same young professional's church group, seeing each other on Sundays, sharing occasional conversations (mostly about Africa or Europe), but nothing more. Little did we know...

Chris secretly thought Lisa was cute (spoiler alert: she felt the same!), but life kept us busy in different directions. Fast forward to spring 2023 - Lisa had moved on to a new church, and Chris finally decided it was time to reach out. After texting and catching up, Chris took a chance and asked Lisa out for dinner at Newk's (yes, it was a date!). It was a Sunday at 7pm - a tad late, but just the beginning of something wonderful.

From that day on, we couldn't stay apart. Countless adventures, bike/runs, daily laughs, and the kind of love that we've both been waiting for.

On Friday, October 18th, 2024, finally came the big day! Chris got the phone call he had been waiting for: The engagement ring was ready. Within two hours, the proposal plans were made and executed. Even though Lisa arrived 15 minutes late (oops!) and the deer camera missed its daylight picture opportunity, the answer was "YES!"

And here we are, ready to celebrate the beginning of our next chapter with all of you.
