Our story begins in October of 2022 where our paths cross for the first time at a fraternity formal in Black River Falls, Wisconsin. Chris was the fraternity president at the time, and Elizabeth was dragged along by a friend that was invited. We didn't talk much, but we definitely noticed each other. After that weekend, we assumed that was the last time we would see each other. Or so we thought.

Fast forward to December of 2022, our paths cross again. Elizabeth was meeting a friend at a karaoke bar called Como Tap, and Chris was persuaded by his friends to go out. We both remembered each other from the formal, and Elizabeth decided to spark up a conversation. After talking, a group of us decided to grab some pizza. Elizabeth knew that she didn't want to lose Chris again, so she found him on social media, and started talking. After a few days of talking, Chris invited Elizabeth to a NYE party at the fraternity house. Being at this party together, it was like we had known each other for years! They knew that this was more than a friendship, and a beautiful relationship was in full bloom.

Chris officially asked Elizabeth to be his girlfriend on February 3rd, 2023. We enjoyed going out to bars, hanging out with friends, getting together with family, etc. We took a few trips along the way including going home to Colorado, road trips to South Dakota, meeting family in New England, and weekend trips up north. In June of 2024, we officially moved in together. After a month, Chris knew that he was ready to pop the question.

On July 27th, 2024, Chris proposed in Excelsior, MN down by the lake with family and friends. It was a day that we will remember forever! We currently live in Minneapolis with our two cats. We are living our lives to the fullest! We are beyond excited to see what is in store for us, and we are beyond blessed we get to go through life together for the rest of our lives!
