We are having a Star Wars-themed wedding. Both Barry and I will be "in character" as Han Solo and Leia Organa. We fully welcome your creativity and imagination in terms of costumes and cosplay. Whether you wear Star Wars scarf or socks or T-shirt, or if you decide to come in full regalia as your favorite character, we are just happy to have you join in the fun! If you want to cos-play as a non-Star-Wars character like Spiderman or Superman or Spongebob Squarepants, that would be AWESOME and AMAZING as well. The important thing is that YOU feel COMFORTABLE in what you choose to wear. We are hoping for a laid-back "beach vibe" in the background of our Star Wars theme, so if you are most comfortable in a Hawaiian shirt and Bermuda shorts, you will be welcome with open arms!! Your PRESENCE is your present. Gifts are 100% optional. We will not have a registry. We have all the toasters and dishes and luggage that we need. If you feel ABSOLUTELY compelled to give a monetary gift, your gift will be treated as a donation to one of the following 501(c)3 organizations: (1) Philippine-American Society of Ohio -- Gifts will be directed to the MacArthur and Nenette Delos Reyes Community Garden, which is scheduled to open in March of 2026. (2) Club HOPE Unlimited -- this is Chris's non-profit organization aimed at supporting individuals and families impacted by addiction. You may arrive as early as 400 PM. Weather permitting, we will be getting married on the beach beside the lake behind the main hall. Please give yourself adequate time to pass through the security booth at the country club, park your car, and grab a seat for the ceremony. Be sure to tell security that the wedding is at THE LAKE CLUB at 210 Grand Mediterra Boulevard, otherwise you will end up at the wrong place. The ceremony will be starting promptly at 5:00 PM Pacific Time, not Filipino Time (LOL)
