Chris - We met on a dating site called OKCupid. I found her profile and I thought she was the prettiest girl I had ever seen. I remember seeing a photo of her in the front seat of her car with cute smile on her face. I immediately knew I had to click on her profile.

After reading through everything and seeing all the things we had in common, I knew I had to message her. But I couldn't just send a simple "Hey!" message, that's when I found one of the questions she answered for the site. "What is something you can beat anyone in?" She answered Mario Kart and I knew then that I had to issue a challenge.

The funny part is, we still haven't played Mario Kart against each other.

Ellen - Chris and I met on a dating app called OkCupid back in 2019. He responded to my profile which mentioned that I could probably beat him in Mario Kart. I was instantly drawn to his smile and how handsome he was. I remember the first picture that I saw of him on the app. It was him wearing his Game of Thrones ugly Christmas sweater. After exploring his profile, I realized we had a lot in common and I'm so glad I responded to him.

After going on our first date, I knew we had a connection. We ate at La Madeleine, went for a stroll around the SMU campus, and went to see a movie. I was a sucker for his cheesy puns, and still am!

We've come so far and have made many priceless memories since our first date back in 2019. He has always been there for me through my ups and downs and I strive everyday to do the same for him. We now have three adorable cats and a house we can call our own. I cannot wait to create a lifetime of more memories together after we say "I do."
