Our Story
It started with a mulligan and ended with "Marry me."
The year was 2019, and our story begins at the very romantic setting of...Shining Rock Golf Club. Fate will have it, we both started our journey at the club that very season. He, a member, I, a server. He joined for the golf, stayed for the girl.
First impressions are everything, and from our very first meeting, I sensed a connection, not an immediate spark, but a comforting familiarity. I thought, "This guy is sweet (not a 'sweets guy'), funny, and a total goofball." He thought, "I'm gonna date this girl." Talk about taking a swing right from the start. (Subtlety has never been his strong suit.)
Fast forward five seasons, and we had become close friends, exchanging laughs, inside jokes, and occasionally being seen "aggressively" flirting. We stayed just friends for years (apparently ignoring the obvious) until one night a friend asked, "Why aren't you two dating?!" Great question. Cue the lightbulb moment. From there, life became a blur of karaoke, awkward apartment run-ins, matching outfits, many more laughs, and countless adventures.
Our journey started with golf, took us through train stations and airport gates, and landed us here. From fairways to forever.

The Quality Inn & Suites Northampton - Amherst hotel is located in Northampton's arts and entertainment district, about a 3-minute drive from our venue or a 7-minute walk.
Use the Group Name "Jones Wedding" to book by calling the hotel. There are only 12 rooms available under this block at this rate, and a 2-night minimum stay is required (10/16-10/18). MUST BOOK by 9/1/26 for this block!

A more quaint and historic choice close to our venue. Roughly a 3-minute ride or 8-minute walk from the venue. The restaurant on site has dairy-free, vegan, and gluten-free options!

The Ellery has a garden and a wood-burning fireplace. Childs Park is just 5 5-minute walk from the inn. Kingsgate Plaza Shopping Center is 1.1 mi away.
Hampton Inn Hadley-Amherst Area
Hampton Inn Hadley-Amherst Area offers 3-star accommodations in Hadley and features a fitness center, a garden, and a shared lounge. This hotel also has an indoor pool. The hotel offers a buffet or an American breakfast.
