Q&A

What is a Roaming Supper?

A Roaming Supper is a relaxed, informal dining experience. Instead of a traditional sit-down meal, guests will mingle, graze, and enjoy a variety of food stations and passed hors d'oeuvres that become heartier and more elaborate as the evening progresses.

There will be a mix of lounge seating, high-top tables, low tables, and dining tables where you can relax and enjoy the offerings at your own pace.

Can I bring my children to the wedding?

We love your little ones, but this celebration is for young adults and adults only. Thank you for understanding!

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by August 23, 2025 via this website on The Knot.

Where is the ceremony?

The Church of the Transfiguration (aka The Little Church Around the Corner)

1 East 29th Street, New York, NY 10016

Phone: 212-684-6770

Where is the reception?

Midtown Loft & Terrace

267 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY 10016

Phone: 212-537-0117

Have you reserved hotel room blocks?

Yes — room blocks are reserved at three hotels. Please visit the Travel page on this site for details.

What should I wear?

The ceremony and reception are semi-formal.

Semi-formal attire strikes a balance between casual and formal. For men, think suit or blazer with dress pants, a collared shirt, and dress shoes. For women, cocktail dresses, midi dresses, or polished jumpsuits are perfect. Choose elegant fabrics and avoid anything overly casual (like jeans) or overly formal (like gowns or tuxedos). Hats are encouraged for both women and men!

See Chris's Suggestions on What to Wear for more specific style notes and recommendations.

Where do we park?

Please check with your hotel for parking recommendations. There are several parking garages near both the ceremony and reception venues.

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotels?

No shuttle is needed! The church, reception venue, and all three hotel blocks are located within the same city block.

There are also plenty of taxis and ride-share options available for getting to and from the airport and hotels.

What time should we arrive?

The wedding ceremony starts at 5:30pm on Saturday, Sept. 20, Proceeding the wedding ceremony, please consider joining us at 4 p.m. with Pops & Parasols — music, champagne, and popcorn — in the church courtyard.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony and post them on social media?

We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. Please rest your phones and be fully present in the moment. Our professional photographer will capture everything, and we’ll happily share those images afterward.

Feel free to take as many photos as you like during the reception! We’ll share a hashtag or tagging info closer to the date.
