Chris and Sophal met online. It started off with a few weeks of chatting and love for sushi. Which lead to the first date at "Fuji Sushi and Hibachi Grill" on New Years Eve of 2021. The date itself was memorable in so many ways. First of many, was the fact that Sophal had to end the date early to go into work; Chris was so understanding. Second, was the fumbling of the first kiss that turned into a double hug. But this did not stop them from redoing the date . Especially since Sophal "ditched" Chris on the first. They've always laughed about it. Then next month, they had separate travel plans. This brought them back to chatting and making plans for further adventures. Multiple dates later, they decided to be exclusive.

On Easter of 2022, Sophal met his entire family. They were amazing and so welcoming. She began to meet his friends, as he met hers. They went on a few double dates and a triple date as well. As time flew by, they discussed what their future wants were.

In August of 2022, Chris moved in with Sophal. She surprised him with a trip to Southern California for his birthday, so that he could see her hometown through her eyes.

As time carried on, they went on a few more adventures. Celebrating holidays with everyone and having their one year anniversary. He surprised her with travel plans to New Hampshire for her birthday. This was unbelievable and the best gift ever because she had not seen her family since 2018. He had the chance to meet everyone and see New England for the first time.

By March 2023, Sophal had the most unforgettable opportunity to go with Chris and his family to Hawaii. On the 2nd to last day of the trip, they finally got the chance to go on a hike and explore the island. They were accompanied by Dan and Heather, Chris's brother and sister-in-law. They had the best and muddiest of times. But on this hike, Chris was determined to find the Waterfall at the end of the trail. A 30 minute hike (according to the locals) turned into a 2 hour maze for them as Chris kept leading the group astray. But they did find the waterfall, along with something she did not expect. This is where Chris surprised her with asking to be his forever. And here they are starting this new chapter, where they cannot wait to share with you all.
