The Boston area is full of beautiful hotels and Airbnbs. We encourage you to stay where you feel most comfortable. Discounted room rates are available at the Omni Parker House Boston, The Westin Waltham Boston, and the Embassy Suites Boston Waltham. See the "Travel" tab above for more details.

The wedding day will begin with the ceremony at 5:30pm on the museum patio, weather permitting, or in the gallery. Following the ceremony, there will be a cocktail reception in the air conditioned gallery from 6:00 - 7:00pm. After cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, dinner and dancing will begin in the pond side tent and will go until about 11:00pm. After the reception, we hope that those interested will continue the festivities with us at Cathedral Station in Boston!

We recommend using Uber or Lyft to get to the venue. There is also abundant parking next to the deCordova gift shop near the museum. We will offer shuttles after the reception back to the hotels and to the afterparty location in two waves at 10:00 and 11:00pm since hailing a Uber or Lyft in Lincoln can be challenging late at night.

Cocktail attire or garden party dress are recommended. Most importantly, be comfortable! New England can be hot and humid in August.

In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony, cocktail reception, and reception will be held inside in the air conditioned deCordova museum and/or under a tent.

We encourage people to do what makes them most comfortable. Mask will not be required at any point, pending any changes to local regulations. The wedding ceremony will not be videoed nor streamed.

Yes, vegetarian options will be available. Please let us know if you have any other dietary restrictions.
