Near to the shopping mall, lots of good food options and near to the underground/subway. Highly recommended
Hotel with an awesome rooftop bar, located with direct access to the shopping mall and underground/subway, also highly recommended
Queiter area, 15 minutes walk to the mall, 5 minutes from Isidora Goyenechea and top class restaurants. Next to the underground/subway.
Nice hotel close to the underground, restaurants and the mall. Give out free bikes to tour the city and have a great breakfast.
The Casablanca Valley has a large number of Wineries and Vineyards that offer tours. You can do this on half a day or a full day. Usually a good idea to pair it with Vina del Mar/Valparaiso and make it a full day tour.
Valparaiso is a UNESCO World Heritage City. With its Port and colouful buildings it offers a great day out. Attractions include one of Pablo Neruda's houses, various restaurants and museums.
If you want a day out at the beach Vina is the best option. Lots of restaurants, shops and sand. You can also go surfing further down the coast in Reñaca. There is the famous casino in the city for those that enjoy a flutter.
If you want to head into the foothills of the Andes Mountains we recommend the Cajon del Maipo. There are various Lodges that provide activities such as zip lining, horseback riding, trekking, white water rafting etc.
If you want to get out of the city for a few days Pucon is an amazing place to visit, flights go to Temuco for around $50 each way. Airbnb and hotels are plentiful. Activities include trekking, climbing the Villarica volcano, quad biking, white water rafting etc.
Similar to Pucon, if you want a few days out of the coty San Pedro is a good scpot for those that like the desert and astronomy. Clear skies, beautiful landscapes and a back packer feel give this town its charm. You can fly from Santiago to Calama and then have a shared minivan take you to San Pedro. Recommended for a 3 day stay.
