RMNP is one of the most beautiful parks & offers a unique way to connect & immerse yourself in some of Colorado's most impressive views. Here we have listed a few of our favorites. RMNP does require a timed entry permit & an entry fee of $35, but once you're in you can play in the park all day! If you're an early riser or didn't get a timed entry permit for the day you wanted to go, get to the park before 6AM where they do not start checking permits yet.

Dream Lake - green diamond (easy to moderate, great sunrise spot)

Emerald Lake - (moderate, trail continues off of Dream Lake)

Lake Haiyaha - blue diamond (moderate to hard, steeper incline & rocky finish)

Lake Chasm - black diamond (hard, half way point to Longs Peak summit & our first hike done in the park!)

Sky Pond - black diamond (hard & all day hike 8.6 miles total)

Longs Peak - double black diamond (only 14er in the park, very hard with exposure & requires a start time of 3-4 in the morning)

Highly recommend downloading the All Trails app if you are hitting the trails for more info & to have a digital map on hand. DRINK EXTRA WATER & always bring more than you think you need while hiking.

MainStage Brewing - Fantastic Beer & Yummy Pizza, spacious outdoor patio with live music nightly.

Mojo Taqueria - BEST tacos in town with both meat and very creative veggie options , unique & delicious cocktails.

Smokin' Daves BBQ - Colorado's take on BBQ , smoked meats & extensive microbrew list.

The Rock Garden - outdoor beer garden with games like "axe" throwing, corn hole, & jenga. Rotating food trucks & often hosts mountain bike rentals.
