Chris moved to Colorado in the summer of 2019 looking for a change of pace from the Bay Area and to live with his childhood friend Michael Kelly. Allie had moved to Colorado a year earlier and was now living with her good friend, Cody. Cody and Michael had just started dating about 6 months prior. As things go in Colorado Summers, Chris and Allie crossed paths and became friends through a kickball league (which we won by the way), Happy Hours in RiNo, and backyard hangs at Chris & Michael's house on Zenobia St.

On one particular night out at Finn's Manor, Chris and Allie were sitting with all their friends having a good time! They got to chatting about travel and Allie shared that "I've always wanted to go to Australia but haven't been able to make it happen." Chris quickly replied, "I'll go with you!". Allie, assuming it was the tequila mule talking, told Chris "Okay, text me tomorrow if you're serious and we can start making a plan". To Chris's credit, he did text her and they spent the rest of the summer planning a 20-day trip to Australia and New Zealand! Through the planning process, glasses of wine and dinners together, Chris and Allie realized they would be going on this trip as more than friends. In November of 2019, Chris asked Allie to officially be his girlfriend. Shortly after, in January of 2020, they shared an epic Aussie/Kiwi adventure - Enjoying picturesque beaches like Bondi, trying all sorts of amazing food, and even skydiving! It was absolutely the trip of their dreams.

Since then, Chris and Allie have been inseparable! From the quarantine crew, to adventures in the mountains, to DIY home projects on their very first home, every day together is a blessing.

On October 22nd, 2023, Chris and Allie went on a hike with their friends, Sarah and Andy. Little did Allie know; it was about to be a BIG day! As soon as the group got to a remote spot, Chris asked Allie to hand him the water bottle. Thinking nothing of it, Allie tossed the bottle back and kept hiking. Chris grabbed her hands and got down on one knee. Allie was completely shocked but of course said "Absolutely YES!".

Now with their two dogs and one very mischievous cat, they are building their lives together and growing every day. On 6.6.2025, Chris and Allie are so excited to take the next step in their commitment to each other and celebrating with their family and friends! Cannot wait to see you there!!!
