Harkening back to Kim's NDP roots the "order of the day" was the list of events that had a definitive and fixed start time. These events would not change their start time, regardless of who or what was still not in attendance.
When we first started planning this big day it went something like this:
Chris: So what do you want our wedding to be like?
Kim: Well, I know no good night starts with a salad...so no plated service, because...salad.
Chris: ok, that makes sense to me. What should we have?
Kim: Ok, I think it should be just like us... it should be fun, they type of party everyone says "yeah, this is Chris and Kim"
Chris: So.....a black tie party with cornhole, washer toss, and euchre?
Kim: EXACTLY!!!!
Chris: And, the Sens are playing that day so the hockey game on?
Kim: YES!
Chris: Ok, so open bar, lots of food, and our hometowns take over Toronto?
Kim: Let's make the hotel lose money!
And so planning went from there, with the theme of Tilbury and the Valley own the City.
In homage to Kim's parents, we will be playing cards at midnight. Make sure to ask her about this story!
