Our Wedding

Chris and Kirsten officially met, albeit briefly, in July 2020 at the Trinity Alps Resort, where Chris was a newbie but Kirsten had been visiting her entire life. While Kirsten likes to say that she doesn't remember meeting Chris that summer, it's more likely she was just playing hard to get (very hard to get). A year later in July 2021, Chris and Kirsten were again back at the Trinity Alps Resort together. This time around, the two of them hit it off immediately and spent a week getting to know each other. While they both felt a connection, it was entirely plutonic. When he got home from the Resort, Chris knew he wanted to pursue something more with Kirsten, so he immediately tracked down her phone number from Mike Price and reached out. When Chris contacted Kirsten, she knew that dreams really do come true (at least, that's what Chris likes to believe)! After many text messages, phone conversations, and surprise FaceTime chats, Kirsten invited Chris to visit her in San Diego to spend a weekend together. The rest is history!

The entire UCLA Lake Arrowhead Lodge is restricted to our wedding group, so make yourself at home and meet someone new - everyone you see is a wedding guest and special to us! Check-In: guests can officially check-in at the front desk at 4pm. It's possible that rooms will be open sooner. Regardless, show up at anytime during the day on Friday. The front desk of the Lodge will gladly watch your things so that you can enjoy yourself and the surrounding activities at the Lodge. Check-Out: check-out time is 11am on Sunday. Breakfast will be available Sunday morning at the Lodge Dining Room.

There are direct flights from San Francisco Airport on&nbsp;<a href="https://www.flybreeze.com/home" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Breeze Airways</a>. The Airport is 45-60 min from the Lodge. See the "SBD and ONT Airport Shuttles" tab for more information on transportation. 2) <a href="https://www.flyontario.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Ontario Airport</a>&nbsp;- about 60-90 min away with more flight options. See the "SBD and ONT Airport Shuttles" tab for more information on transportation. 3) <a href="https://www.flylax.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">LAX</a> (~100 miles away)&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.ocair.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Orange County</a> (~75 miles away).&nbsp;Airports are about 2-3.5 hour drive away, depending on traffic, so you would need to rent a car or Uber/Lyft.&nbsp;A wedding shuttle will not be provided from these airports.

SAN BERNARDINO (SBD) AIRPORT PASSENGERS: We have contracted with <a href="https://mstvans.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Modern Shuttle Transportation</a> to have rides to and from SBD airport for you.&nbsp;There are 28 of you flying on the Breeze Airways SFO to SBD flight! - 6/9 Arrival:&nbsp;After arriving at SBD airport, look for the 3 very large white shuttle vans.&nbsp;Apparently the airport is small and you’re basically the only flight in, so it should be easy to find your drivers.&nbsp;You’re off to the Lodge! - 6/11 Departure:&nbsp; <a href="https://mstvans.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Modern Shuttle Transportation</a> will pick you up from the Lodge parking lot at 9:00AM to take you back to SBD for your flight home...so sad!
