Traveling to Friday Harbor on San Juan Island
Friday Harbor is located on San Juan Island, the most visited island in the San Juan Islands of Puget Sound. To travel there you can either take a ferry or fly directly to the island via a handful of smaller aircrafts including float planes. Travel can book up quickly for the summer months so be sure to make your plans ahead of time.
Drive-on Ferry reservations
Please remember to reserve a spot on the ferry. Reservations are required for vehicle travel on the ferries during the summer/fall months. Washington State Ferries (WSF) releases their reservation availability gradually, moving towards the desired date of travel.

Please note: At time of reservation, WSF will show a charge of $10 which will only be charged in the event of showing up later than 30 minutes prior to scheduled sailing time. The actual cost of a ferry vehicle reservation, for a standard car, is $67.15 + $13.75 per additional passenger, charged at the ferry terminal.

Walk on Ferry
The Anacortes Ferry Terminal has many large parking lots, should you decide to walk on to the ferry. Please be aware that these lots do get very full, so plan time to find a parking spot and for the walk from the parking lot to the terminal.
The cost to walk on is $13.75 per passenger.

Bellair Charters & Airporter
There is a shuttle from SeaTac airport to Anacortes. From Anacortes you can walk or drive on the ferry.
Kenmore Air (Lake Washington)
Kenmore Air offers flights to Friday Harbor airport as well as Friday Harbor Marina via float plane.

Missed your Ferry or Ferry Full?
Park your car at the Anacortes terminal and walk-on! Not only is it a cheaper option, but you can also take a cab to and from the venue! Rental cars and mopeds are also available, on island.
