We met in June of 2021, when we both fatefully swiped right on Facebook Dating. We hit it off right away, with our similar interests of National Parks, hiking, and photography. Our first date was a lovely walk at Blue Marsh lake, which was interrupted by a torrential downpour. The rain wasn't enough to stop us from having a wonderful day, and we happily spent the rest of the summer kayaking, hiking, going to the beach, eating ice cream, watching movies, and falling in love. Two years later, we have gone on many adventures together, including trips to Costa Rica and Panama. Our first national park that we visited together was Saguaro National Park in April 2023, where he popped the ultimate question, "Will you marry me?". It was the most picturesque desert sunset scene you can imagine, and she happily said yes! We have now been dating for 2 years, and are planning our wedding (and the rest of forever)! We can't wait for the many more adventures we will have together over the course of our life together, and we are over the moon that we get to continue to adventure and do life together, as the soon to be Mr. & Mrs. Thompson.
