Picture it, fall 2014. Chrissy, an eager college student, has a dream of working at a winery when she graduates. She finds an event internship at a winery 45 minutes from school and jumps at the opportunity. On her first day, she pulls into the parking lot, a little nervous but so excited.

Watching her as she walks in is Richard, a tasting room associate at who recently got into wine. Just a few months earlier, he thought Cabernet and Sauvignon were two different wines. He watches her walk across the lot with so much confidence and turns to his coworker saying ‘I got this.’ In between tasting all the wines the winery had to offer, they got to know each other. Chrissy worked two more days before the season ended and schoolwork picked up, but their relationship continued to grow. And the rest is history…
