Our story officially began in 2017 in Oxford, MS (Hotty Toddy!), but really, the first chapter was written back in 2015. Christa was a freshman and Will was a junior when we first crossed paths at the Alpha Tau Omega tent in the Grove.

Fast forward to spring semester of 2017 — that’s when things really started falling into place. We quickly realized we had so many mutual friends and shared interests. Will kept trying to convince Christa to play tennis with him (which earned him the nickname “tennis guy”), but since she hadn’t touched a racket since middle school, she wasn’t exactly eager to show off her “skills.” After a few polite no’s, Will finally figured out what she couldn’t say no to: a nice dinner on the Square.

So, for their very first date (which was rare for an Ole Miss guy at the time), Will took Christa to Boure, one of her favorites. That night we couldn’t stop talking — moving from one spot to the next until the bars made last call. From that night on, we were pretty much inseparable.

Since then, we’ve shared so many seasons of life together: college memories, game days, long distance, moving to Atlanta, moving in together, and finally — getting engaged!

On January 17, 2025, Will proposed to Christa at Rays on the River on the Chattahoochee, a place that has been so special to us with countless walks and memories. He pulled off the sweetest surprise by having Christa’s entire family fly in, and his mom hosted the most incredible engagement party after. It was truly the happiest day of our lives — one we never wanted to end.

We also added a new member to our little family: Sunny, our golden retriever, who has completely stolen our hearts. We can’t imagine life without her (shoutout Shane for bringing her into our world).

Now, we’re so excited to step into this next chapter as husband and wife. We’ve found our best friend and our forever, and we can’t wait to celebrate with all of you — our favorite people. See you in Rosemary Beach on May 16, 2026 — let’s party!
